We are excited about the opportunity to work with your children! Together, we will make it our goal to bring out and nourish each child's learning ability. We will encourage each student to learn at their highest level of excellence.
*Mrs. Bastos has been teaching for 7 years. This is her 3rd year at
Lake Windward.
* Mrs. Richards has been teaching at Lake Windward for 19 years and has taught
Kindergarten and 1st Grade. She is joining our team in 2nd Grade this year!
*Ms. Mitchell has been teaching 2nd Grade for three years at Lake Windward!
* Mrs. Zirlott has been teaching for 20 years. She's taught 2nd and 4th grades at
Lake Windward.

***When your child is absent, please send an email to
[email protected] with your child's name, date of absence,
and the reason for the absence or the absence will be marked unexcused.
*If your child has a change in transportation, a written note is required. If the
change is last minute, please call the front office at 470-254-7050.
*Send a healthy snack with your child each day. You may also send in a 2nd snack
for the afternoon, as our lunch is very early in the day.
*Encourage your child to read 20 minutes a day.
*Water bottles, filled with water, may be brought for use during the school day.
*Please check the Take-Home folder daily. Take the "Keep at Home" papers out and return the "Bring Back" papers.
