We are excited about the opportunity to work with your children! Together, we will make it our goal to bring out and nourish each child's learning ability. We will encourage each student to learn at their highest level of excellence.
* Mrs. Cox joined our 2nd grade team last year! She previously taught 3rd grade. She has been teaching at Lake Windward for 16 years.
*Mrs. Bastos joins us from Miami. She has been teaching for 5 years. This is her first year at LWE.
* Mrs. Decker has been teaching at Lake Windward for 13 years, and this is her 11th year in second grade.
* Mrs. Mackes is returning to LWE for her 5th year at this school teaching 2nd grade.
*Ms. Mitchell graduated from Kennesaw State and is teaching her first year at LWE!
* Mrs. Zirlott has been teaching for 18 years. She's taught 2nd and 4th at LWE.

***When absent, please send an email to [email protected]
with your child's name, dates of absences, and the reason for the absence
or the absence will be marked unexcused.
*Send a healthy snack with your child each day
*Encourage your child to read 20 minutes daily
*Water bottles, filled with water, may be brought for use during the school day!
*If your child has a change in transportation, a written note is required. If the change is last minute, please call the front office.
*Please check the Take-Home folder daily.
Take out the "Keep at Home" papers and return the "Sign and Return" papers.
