Students will learn how to determine the two tens a number is between and round to the nearest one. Students will also work with rounding to the nearest 100. Students will determine what two hundreds a number is in between and which one it is closest to. At the end of the week, students will extend their knowledge to rounding to the nearest 1,000.

Math3.1 - This week in enhanced math we will begin our fourth unit. We will focus on rounding for this week. First, we will work with rounding to the nearest 10. Students will learn how to determine the two tens a number is between and round to the nearest one. Students will also work with rounding to the nearest 100. Students will determine what two hundreds a number is in between and which one it is closest to. At the end of the week, students will extend their knowledge to rounding to the nearest 1,000.
